Booking Lead Time
Appointments are required for all sessions and will be scheduled no sooner than two weeks from the date you contact me. You must provide a valid email address when scheduling. This email address will be used for invoicing (if applicable), appointment confirmations, and proof delivery. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMEMBERING YOUR APPOINTMENT DATE AND TIME.
With the exception of special event mini sessions, all session fees are due by the end of your session. The following payment methods are accepted: cash, check, credit/debit card. I do not accept PayPal. You may request to be invoiced for your session balance prior to, or immediately following your session. Your invoice is due upon receipt. Overdue invoices are subject to a daily 5% late fee until the balance has been paid in full. No images will be edited, shared, or released to you until your balance is paid in full.
All new clients are required to pay a $25 deposit. If this deposit is not paid within 24 hours of receipt, your session will be cancelled and you will have to start the scheduling process again. All online bookings require a $25 deposit.
All special event mini session fees are due at scheduling. You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance to receive a 50% refund of your fee. If cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, you will not be eligible for a refund of your session fee and your session may not be rescheduled.
All credit card transactions are subject to a 2.9% processing fee and a $0.30 transaction fee, therefore all refunds on credit card transactions will not be refunded in the full original amount. Your refund will be based on the amount of the original transaction, minus the processing fee. Example: $25 deposits are refunded in the amount of $23.97.
With the exception of new client deposits and partial special event mini session fees, no monetary refunds will be given. If you are unhappy with your photos for any reason, please don't hesitate to contact me. Together we will work towards a solution; your photos may be edited in a different style or we may retake your session. However, art is subjective and I require compensation for the time I have already put into your session.
If you can not make it to your appointment on time, please let me know. Your appointment end time will not be extended to accommodate your tardiness. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, you will forfeit your session and any deposits. If you are more than 30 minutes late (no matter what), you will forfeit your session and any deposits.
NO CALL NO SHOWS: I reserve the right to refuse further service to anyone who doesn't give me the courtesy of cancelling their session. Obviously, certain circumstances require immediate attention, so not all no call no shows will automatically result in refusal of future services. No call no shows are not entitled to a refund of deposit, no matter what the circumstances for your absence.
Limited Print Release
The print release that you are granted with each session permits you to reproduce your images in print for personal, non-commercial use. You may NOT use your images for any sort of financial gain. This means that you may not use the photos for any sort of contest that makes you eligible for a prize. I retain the copyrights to all images produced at Cristi Snapp Photography. Photography is my art and my passion. You may not claim my work as your own. You may NOT re-edit any of your images or apply any sort of filters to them (example: Instagram filters). You may upload the images from your session to social media with appropriate credit to the photographer (photo credit to Cristi Snapp Photography).
You can expect to receive your online gallery approximately 2-3 weeks after your session date. If it has been more than 30 days since your session date and you have still not received your gallery link, please contact me. For weddings and special events (parties, etc.), you can expect to receive your images no less than 30 days, but not more than 90 days, after your event.
If you have ordered prints from your online gallery, they will be shipped to you in 7-10 days once the order has been approved and submitted to the lab by me. I do not guarantee the quality of any prints. However, I have chosen a professional lab with excellent customer service and I will be happy to contact them on your behalf if there is a problem.
If you purchase prints from an outside lab or retailer (such as Wal-Mart, Shutterfly, Snapfish, Walgreens, etc.), any problems with your prints are the responsibility of the client and the retailer/lab. Meaning, I am NOT responsible for prints purchased outside of your online gallery. If you contact me because your Wal-Mart prints look bad, I will apologize and tell you that it's not my problem. I NEVER print photos at Wal-Mart and I don't think you should either. There. I said it.
