You must have a valid email address to schedule a session. Your email address will be used to send any invoices, appointment confirmations, and reminders. You will not be added to any lists and your information will not be sold to any third party.

  1. You will receive an invoice for your new client deposit via email. Your credit card information will not be shared with me or anyone else.
  2. Once paid, you will receive an appointment confirmation via email.
  3. You will receive a reminder email 24 hours before your appointment.
  4. Once your session has been completed, you can expect to get your online gallery in 2-3 weeks. You will receive your gallery link via email, along with a password to access your images and a discount code for your 2 free prints (excludes metallic finish).
  5. Your USB drive will be ready for pickup when you receive your gallery link. You may pick it up at the studio location (black mailbox on the front porch) at your convenience. 
  6. You may order extra prints and extra USB drives from your online gallery. Prints will be shipped directly to you within 1-2 business days from your order.
  7. If your USB drive is not picked up within 30 days, it will be formatted and reused. You will have to purchase a new one if desired.

What Should I/We Wear?

Avoid bright neon colors and tight, small patterns (like tiny plaid or gingham). When choosing outfits for family sessions, it is best to choose colors that compliment one another, but do not match perfectly (a classic example is jeans and white shirts on everyone). You want to look great, but not like a giant blob with multiple heads. Check out my Pinterest board, Looking Good For The Camera, for more ideas.

How Many Outfits Can I Bring?

For children, bring 4-5 outfits but make sure you get your favorites first. Some children won't last through multiple clothing changes without a meltdown. For seniors, 5-6 outfits are the norm.

Only one outfit is permitted during a mini session and only one backdrop will be used.

When Is My Session Fee Due?

All regular and birthday party/special event session fees and any additional charges are due the day and the time of your session. First time clients are required to pay a $50 deposit within 24 hours of scheduling, with the remaining balance of their fee due the day and time of the session. You must call and cancel your session at least 24 hours in advance to receive a refund of your deposit, minus any credit/debit card processing fees (usually $5).

What If I Have To Cancel or I'm Running Late?

You may cancel your session at any time, but I would prefer at least an hour's notice. You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a refund of any deposits. You should receive a reminder email 24 hours before your scheduled session time; that's the perfect time to let me know you can't make it. If you are running late, please give me a courtesy call and let me know. Your appointment end time will not be extended to accommodate your tardiness. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, you will forfeit your session and any deposits. If you are more than 30 minutes late (no matter what), you will forfeit your session and any deposits. No reason is required for cancellations. 

NO CALL NO SHOWS: I reserve the right to refuse further service to anyone who doesn't give me the courtesy of cancelling their session. Obviously, certain circumstances require immediate attention, so not all no call no shows will automatically result in refusal of future services. NO CALL NO SHOWS ARE NOT ENTITLED TO A REFUND OF ANY DEPOSIT, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES. 

Do You Provide Cakes for Cake Smash Sessions?

I do not.

What Do I Need To Bring?

I LOVE it when clients bring goodies! I encourage you to bring any special items you would like to incorporate into your session to make it more unique. I have several newborn wraps and headbands, some pants, and baskets and buckets. I usually have balloons and banners for birthday sessions.

What Does "Limited Print Release" Mean?

The print release that you are granted with each session permits you to reproduce your images in print for personal, non-commercial use. You may NOT use your images for any sort of financial gain. This means that you may not use the photos for any sort of contest that makes you eligible for a prize. I retain the copyrights to all images produced at Cristi Snapp Photography. Photography is my art and my passion. You may not claim my blood, sweat, and tears as your own. You may NOT re-edit any of your images or apply any sort of filters to them (example: Instagram filters). You may upload the images from your session to social media with appropriate credit to the photographer (photo credit to Cristi Snapp Photography). 

What Happens If it rains?

If the weather doesn't play nice with our plans for your session, we will reschedule it. I will do my best to work around your schedule and choose another day and time that will work well for you. However, if we cannot come together on a new date and time, and you have paid a new client deposit, you will be refunded the deposit.

Do You Take Checks?

I accept cash, checks ($30 fee if returned), and debit/credit cards. I do not accept PayPal.
